5 Ingredient Flourless Healthy Banana Bread
I've made healthy banana bread for years from Against All Grain. I decided to switch it up when I discovered the healthy banana bread recipe from BakerMama.
Emmie is at an age where baking and cooking are super fun. She can feel the ingredients. We can also count them and talk about their colors. If you're a parent to a toddler though, you know. Activities of 10 minutes or less are key, which is why this flourless healthy banana bread recipe was perfect!
How I prepped for Emmie
The trick was to prep all of the ingredients for this healthy banana bread ahead of time so her job was to dump them into a bowl and help me stir. It worked out perfectly, and spoiler alert, she loved the healthy banana bread. It's so cute to watch her in the video as she stirs and sniffs the ingredients.
That's been the helpful and eye-opening part of quarantine. I've discovered that everything is a teachable moment. I put together her lesson plans if you're interested in other toddler teachable moments.
About our Café oven
We partnered with Café when we redid our kitchen. Initially, I fell in love with their design. White kitchens are stunning, but I wanted something more than white cabinets. The matte white appliances are absolutely gorgeous. A perk (after having them for 6 months), they're ridiculously easy to clean, too.
I also love the wifi enablement. First of all, I set it up myself in less than 15 minutes. It was so easy! Then, I was able to preheat the oven from my phone while I was watching Emmie. How amazing is that?? Here's our exact model to explore it further.
Their hashtag is #distinctbydesign and that couldn't be more true. Everyone who comes into our home comments on the appliances and how much they love them. Honestly, the pictures don't do the appliances enough justice!
Please note this post is sponsored by Café appliances but all thoughts & opinions are my own.
